After Action Reviews

After an incident is resolved, it's all too easy to pat ourselves on the back and return to normal operations - after all, you've managed to survive. But even if the company remains standing after a crisis, invaluable learnings can be gleaned from every incident to validate what worked well and improve what did not.

Lootok's After Action Reviews (AARs) are facilitated by business continuity professionals with military C4-ISR backgrounds, offering perspective from both a business and a command & control angle. A series of pre-established questions are presented to key players in the incident, to gain multiple perspectives on how the incident was managed. Questions are designed to shed light on both the positives and negatives of the incident, allowing for recognition of good decisions and actions and non-punitive correction of elements that slowed progress.

Observations are recorded neutrally, then analysis and findings are presented to the team. In addition to the formal report, our creative team can present a "human interest" story on the incident for a business continuity newsletter or other venue where other employees can learn about the incident.
